INTRODUCTION

The SCI-TECH 2023 Hackathon is an event organized by Africa Manufacturing Innovation Hub. The event is designed to inspire, challenge, and empower students from tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
As a cardinal factor to our corporate vision, this SCITECH23 Hackaton will provide opportunities for talent development, innovation, and networking within the technology ecosystem. Our combined efforts will yield impactful results that will foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and problem-solving in our society. This Hackathon is focused on Science and Technology and aims to transform academic knowledge into innovative solutions capable of dealing with real-world problems.

Winners will be incubated by AMI HUB. The prize money for the winners is 10 MILLION NAIRA.

The 3 Phases of Sci-Tech Hackathon 2023

Phase 1 - Teams from various tertiary institutions in the South-South region of Nigeria will apply for the SCI-TECH Hackathon 2023. Their applications will be screened by experts and the top teams will be selected for the next stage.
Phase 2 - The top selected teams will be invited to present their project/ ideas in person, where experts will assess and review their presentations based on set criteria of innovation and viability.
Phase 3 - Selected teams will come to the finals with their projects having gone through mentorship and advisory processes. The winners will be identified and announced by the panel of judges.

NOTE: Teams from all tertiary institutions in South-South Nigeria (Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross-River, Delta, Edo, Rivers) can apply for this SCITECH23 Hackathon. Individual team members are encouraged to follow and like AMIHub on all her social media platforms.

How To Register

Step 1 - Scan each team member's valid school ID card, append to a single document (Ms-Word or PDF) and upload through our registration form.
Step 2 - Fill the registration form below and submit
Step 3 - Using the slide format provided, prepare & upload your product presentation slide.
